A Celebration of Learning

Friday, November 15th

5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m

Le Monde International School

Le Monde's Celebration of Learning event will showcase six weeks of learning and culminate with an evening of art, performances, and our living museum. From Pre-K to 5th grade, students have embraced the theme, "Where We Are in Time and Place" to create a deeper understanding of exploration and our orientation in the world today. They have studied personal histories and geographies, homes and journeys, discoveries, explorations and migrations of humankind, relationships, and the interconnectedness of individuals and civilizations. From both local and global perspectives, we are honored to guide our students to know the difference they can make in our world.

With our eyes on the exciting future, we are using this opportunity to also raise funds for our school. Le Monde International School gets approximately 30% less than the traditional public school. As our school grows, we will need funding for construction, staffing, building of our library, as well as continuing to improve our education rigger through our work with Oklahoma A+ and the International Baccalaureate program.

Our goal for this event is $15,000 and we need your help. We will be providing dinner and the opportunity for you to participate in a silent auction and a raffle. Please be sure to RSVP for dinner. This event is open to the public, so please invite friends, family, and our community members. We are so proud of our students and school community!

In the words of Benjamin Franklin, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” We look forward to sharing this beautiful night of learning with us. For questions, please contact us at info@lemondenorman.org or call us at 405-701-2125.
