One of sixty-six (66) schools in the United States, and only school in the state of Oklahoma, Le Monde International School received the certification recognizing schools outside of France that offer outstanding bilingual education in French and promotes the international influence of the French language.
Upon the advice of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), the French institute (IF), and Mission Laïque Française, the LabelFrancÉducation seal is awarded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) to French-speaking bilingual programs of excellence offering enhanced instruction in the French language and at least one non-linguistic discipline in French.

About the French Cultural Service in Houston
The French Cultural Service in Houston, or Villa Albertine in Texas, develops artistic, educational, and academic activities in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. It is committed with its American partners to promoting French-American exchanges in the artistic, audiovisual, literary, educational, academic, and non-governmental fields. It provides support and advice to individuals (artists, authors, teachers, researchers, professionals) and institutions (art centers, film libraries, professional networks, schools, educational systems, universities, NGOs, foundations, local authorities) and partners with them in various projects.
About Le Monde International School
Le Monde International School is a public charter school located in Norman, Oklahoma. A French and Spanish immersion school, which means that beginning in PreK, students are immersed in language throughout their school day. This method of language learning, in combination with superior academic programming, provides students with a high level of proficiency in both English and their target language.
